Get To Know Anne
How did you get started in the real estate industry?
Lifelong Californians, my husband, Tim, and I moved to Roseville in 2003 after I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications/ Public Relations. While working in an administrative position for a national homebuilder in the Sacramento region, several colleagues recommended I obtain my real estate license and sell new homes. I passed the real estate exam in 2004, but decided to go into resale instead of new home sales. I knew immediately I had found the perfect fit and my dream job.
What do you love most about your job as a real estate agent?
I have the best job in the world and love everything about being a Real Estate Broker. I get to meet so many wonderful people, and many become friends. Another huge perk is that I get to work with my husband, Tim. Together we have built a solid business starting from scratch, and now the majority of our business comes from referral and repeat clients. We're eternally grateful to the clients who trusted us when we were just getting started back in 2004, and continue to trust us today. We work hard to make each client feel like they are our only client and have a great experience. Giving back to the community is an important part of our business plan too, including various local organizations that focus on helping women and children in crisis, as well as Veterans and animal rescue groups.
What’s one of the funniest things that you’ve experienced in your career?
There have been quite a few funny experiences, but they're "in the vault" where they will stay!
What’s the best advice you can give to your home buyers and sellers?
Whether you are a Buyer or Seller, look for an agent with excellent knowledge of the contract, frequent communication with quick response time, principals and professional standards, and a high level of trustworthiness and availability. These things will dictate how the transaction goes, and if the process is smooth or not. Choosing an agent with a vast amount of experience cannot be overemphasized. A home purchase or sale of a home is typically the largest transaction most people will make in their lifetime. You don't want to trust that to just anyone.
Tell me something interesting about yourself or a hobby not many people know.
In addition to spending any free time with Tim and my family, I enjoy photographing nature and pets, and decorating. Grateful agent here!
